Well I have to say, I watched Exorcist the Beginning and I was right....it was the biggest pile of donkey dung since the last big pile of donkey dung. Shame, because the original scared the bejesus out of me when I first saw. Also watched Shaun of the Dead recent...hillarious film

Strangely, I liked it.

The man who cried . . . with Christina Ricci , Johnny depp and Cate Blanchet (sp) . Film was made better by the great acting from said cast .

I honestly think I must have a mentally instability that makes scarey things funny, coz I find the Exorcist absoloutly hilarious too First time I saw it was on Channel 4, they had this wanring before hand saying how scarey it was and advising that you only watch it if you're absoloutly sure you can cope with ti...so I was having second thoughts, but I thought I'd give it a try, I could always switch it off if it was bothering me, right? But it turned out to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen!!!

One of my favourite films: Can't Hardly Wait. It gets funnier everytime I watch it I swear.

I think the Exorcist is more or less affecting sometimes depending on your own personal frame of mind. Some of the effects are laughable now, but I find the premise behind the film quite scary...maybe thats just the product of being brought up in a religious family, who knows....normally I watch horror films and they don't bother me at all.

;D LMAO! Oh yeah...right there with you on that one. The stage show alone left me bored rigid and I love theatre so you can imagine the film left me colder than a fishmongers freezer.

Just watched 'Heavenly Creatures' which I thought was actually pretty well-done. It is from 1994 and directed by Peter Jackson and there are indeed some fantastical elements (so a bit of omen to the Lord of the Rings ).

I loved it when I saw it way back and I always watch it when it comes on...deffinately foreshadows LotR as does The Frighteners if you've seen that, especially the Nazgul.

I just discovered the film as an extra of a magazine and I didn´t have to think twice to spend the 2€ for it (though the magazine itself seems to be sort of crap). But what I also enjoyed about the film was that there were certain situations when the camera looked right into the face of Pauline or thus which reminded me of Amélie to some extent (y´know, when she "talks" to the audience). Funny

yes! it's a very unusual movie...but also very disturbing. You love the girls and yet you can see how increasingly...lost...they are becoming in their own world.
