Here's a link to a very funny and extremely accurate Dead Ringers spoof of Torchwood. Bang on target. The coat-swirlling and Gwen's name badge are my favourite bits; www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKrEnBmST00

Torchwood is the best programme on tv atm. Much better than Doctor Who. Cant wait until it comes back on in January for the 2nd series

DreamDangerously mentioned that it was a rumour in the Doctor Who thread, and now it's been confirmed - James Marsters will be guest-starring in the second season of Torchwood. Everyone's favourite Sid Vicious impersonator will appear in the first episode, apparently playing a villain. For more information about Season Two, here's a link; www.sfx.co.uk/page/sfx?entry=torchwood_latest

That's good news: he's a fine actor, even if he is still getting tagged in the press as Jim From Neighbours.

yeah you'd have thought he'd have done enough to escape that tag by now. I love this bit: The Beeb have finally confirmed that Buffy and Angel star James Marsters is making a guest appearance in the first episode, and released the above pic, which we imagine will have inspired about 5000 slash fiction stories by tomorrow morning.LOL!!!

Ive never actually seen him doing anything else. ----------------------------- I wonder if theyre going to pick up the 'Face Of Boe' thread in Torchwood or leave it hanging out there for the next series of Dr Who ......

I hope they do if just to debunk it....it was the most ridiculous thing said in that entire episode!

I hope they do if just to debunk it....it was the most ridiculous thing said in that entire episode! Well Russell T Davies was supposedly backpedalling like crazy on it in the commentary for Last of the Time Lords... With any luck Martha's appearances will give them the chance to sort it out - all Jack needs to do is tell her he was messing with her head.

Just in case any of our American members are unaware, I've read that Torchwood begins on BBC America at 21:00 (both Eastern time and Pacific time) on 8th September.

I love this report on what James Marsters made of his appearance in Torchwood. Contains lots of speculation and some minor spoilers for season two: www.syfyportal.com/news424119.htmlI think this is the funniest (non-spoilery) bit: "And they opened my eyes over in Wales, I gotta say. I mean at first I was all freaked out ‘cause this dude playing Jack, he’s like all sexy on the set and everything..."He sounds so bemused by it.

BBC America's screening of the first episode of Torchwood reportedly achieved audience figures of 496,000. Apparently this means it's the most-watched programme in the channel's history.

On the SFX website's news-page today, there's an article about the press screening of the first episode of Torchwood's second season, and the thoughts of the SFX writers who attended. There's a link below. The article contains no major spoilers, but if you'd rather not know anything, best not read. www.sfx.co.uk/page/sfx?entry=torchwood_season_two_screening
