american boy , its a bit swingy or cha cha, and repetative and basic enough for a simple brain like my own to latch onto. hehe(im really laughing now! I loved it when I first heard it .... Not quite so keen now that its been overplayed. I do love the Sam Sparro cover of it.

I watched Escape from LA on the Sci-Fi channel earlier in the week, and ever since then I've had 'The One' by White Zombie (which plays over the end credits) repeating in my head. Great song though, and so far I'm still enjoying it.

Had 'No Good Advice' by Girls Aloud in my head for most of last week, but ever since seeing Doomsday on 09/05/08 I've been alternating between 'Two Tribes' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and 'Spellbound' by Siouxsie & the Banshees.

woke up one morning last week and was desperate to listen to howard jones "like to get to know you well" i like some of the eighties being born in '76 im just old enough to remember them and the styles/culture of the era though the clash is a little outta my league but i know people who where there , and i get them a little.
we used to have a guy in our town who looked just like howard jones, same hair, everything, everyone called it him. im dead sentimental, iev been playing it in my camper

Heard 'Gay Bar' by Electric Six on the radio a couple of days ago. First time I've heard it in years, and it's been on Repeat in my noggin ever since.

I don't watch Glee, but while channel-hopping last night I came across an episode of the show containing a splendidly engaging, flash mob inspired, shopping-mall dance sequence set to a cover version of 'The Safety Dance'; www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG4WOUB3wB4Ever since, I've had Men Without Hats' original version of the song replaying in my head.

Due to the TV adverts in Marks & Spencers' Christmas campaign (Dannii's a comedy natural), I've had 'You Should Be Dancing' by the Bee Gees going round in my head on & off for over a week.

Watched the vampire movie Blood Angels (aka Thralls) on the Horror channel last night, and ever since I've had 'Lady Venom' by Canadian group Swollen Members going through my head, as the video for the song plays over the film's end credits. Here's a link to the video - the scorpion dancer is actress Fiona Scott, who also played one of the main characters in Thralls. Apparently she appeared in several other Swollen Members' videos.

It's funny, the little things you remember without even trying to. 'Crystal' by New Order was released a decade ago, yet I can still recall a magazine review that declared ' if an alien landed and asked what 'rock and roll' was, you'd play him this.' Anyway, I've had it constantly in my head for over three days. Still loving it!
