Christina fans - Jane Eyre starts this Sunday at 9pm on BBC1, in case you'd missed it. I saw this a while back and meant to post it; happily enough the link is still there. Interesting article and includes pretty picture of Christina as Blanche: www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/main.jhtml?xml=/fashion/2006/04/24/eflace22.xmlOutpost Gallifrey is reporting that the latest Doctor Who magazine mentiones a Christina Cole among the guest stars for Doctor Who series 3!! I've not picked up the magazine yet, so I don't know if there's any more mention, or confirmation that it is indeed THIS Christina, but how cool is that! Ooh, interesting, thanks for the heads up. I saw the thing about Blanche too, am definatly gonna watch it, and make my best mate sit through my Christina fest...she better have good screen time *shakes fist* Ooooh might get me one of those wrist bands actually, quite pretty Gosh she looks so pretty in that picture...oh the sig possiblilties! *knabs it* Thanks for the link! ;D

I don't think the picture is of her as Blanche I think it was a modelling shot for the bracelets/the foundation. I followed the link to the lace making organisation that's mentioned and you can buy lace bracelets like the one Christina is wearing in the picture from here www.powerofhandsfoundation.org/aparently they've had a big demand for them due to that picture. They're relatively inexpensive as well really plus it supports an important organisation!

she was very good as the haughty rich girl.
I adore period drama's as well. I'm so glad Jane Eyre is on...I was pining for a good costume drama after Bleak House last year!

Never had the chance to get into Bleak House sadly. Wanted to, just inconvienient I guess.
I'm worried she's being tpe cast, although she plays it well.
I'm gonna go make a seperate post for Jane Eyre in a sec but I'm loving the tension between Jane and Rochester! And the blatent distain Blanche has for those that she sees as a threat for Rochester's affections/attentions! Tis grand! *squeees*

It might be! You might be able to order it from Amazon or something at some point. They released Pride and Prejudice over there didn't they? The one with Colin Firth in it. If it get's fairly popular over here I don't see why it wouldn't be released on a BBC channel overseas and stuff

Could be cut shorter or just tied back, as I can't tell without seeing the back... Oooo just got back from seeing Casino Royale! Christina has like a minute or so of Screen Time and flirts a little with Daniel Craig! I squeed ;D and twas a great film anyway, seeing Christina helped top it off

She didnt cut her hair. They posted pics taken during the play at almeida.co.uk and she looks really good...long hair and all.

Ooh, I hadn't seen the new picture, thanks Tina. She really is *so* pretty. I've edited my other post so it still links to the non-haircut photo. Eleanor David may be a good actress but she has no place in a Christina Cole thread.
