I like art now but I hated it at school, mostly because they made you pick between Art and Drama for options and the Art teacher just gave up on the Drama people, and for me there was no contest, Drama every time.  |

sadly unless the school becomes an arts college they are usually the most underfunded departments. It sucks. We're very lucky that there are lot of people supportive of the arts at my school.

It used to be really good, they'd put at least two big plays on a year and they always had concerts and talent shows and such, but its went down hill terribly since one of the teachers retired. Im sure theres a curse on the arts department teachers in my school, my drama teacher has really bad MS and one music teacher got nocalepsy, and the other one went blind, although he's got his sight back now. Then one of the art teachers sister got attacked, and she couldnt leave the house for months (the art teacher). Sadly, it hasnt touched the art teacher I hate!

Indeed. They waste all there time and energy on worthless things like science. When our drama teacher took ill this year and had to stay off we had to teach ourselves for about 2-3 months, because they couldnt be bothered to get us a teacher, and they only got one when we had complained three times.

It's shocking isn't it. Staffing is a big problem and sadly supply and what not tend to go to the core subjects.

Just thought I'd bring this back on topic-Favourite Band..
Mine is probably Bowie or Damien Rice (thought they're not 'bands') ;D I like the old glam rock and the new indie stuff

I totally agree. I mean, I fully support the full genocide of all charvs. Ha! We can all get together and kill them with mass amounts of black clothing. Ten to one they'll shrivel up and die. Mwahaha!

Oooh yes!! We'll have to start up here, in the northeast, as the creature originates from here. Do you think we should all lure them somewhere with excessive cans of fosters and lots of rave music, then gas them? I like that idea ;D
