Camera's ready!
I'm actually going to go get Tony Head's autograph although I've 'met' him before I've never actually got his siggy so I figured I may as well this year. But I will definately try and get a picture of the Corey's, it's such an eighties squee but they rock(ed)!
They've got a Lost Boy's reunion thing this year but without Kiefer can't say I'm overly excited, and Tony appears to be the only BTVS cast member this year so I'm thinking it'll be a fleeting visit from me.

I don't live far from Milton Keynes, so I've been to every Collectormania event held there since they began, apart from one I missed a couple of years ago because I was attending an Angel convention in Blackpool.
Went to the current Collectormania on Saturday (29/04/06) and got autographs from three of my favourite genre actresses: the gorgeous Pat Tallman (best known for playing Lyta Alexander in Babylon 5), Julie Catlin Brown (numerous genre TV appearances), and Lisa Wilcox (Alice in the 4th and 5th Nightmare on Elm Street movies).
At previous Collectormanias I've gotten autographs from Doug Bradley (Pinhead in the Hellraiser films) and Kristanna Loken (the TX in Terminator 3).

I'll probably be there...it's not like it'd be much effort for me to go really. There's no one I really wanna meet (pay to meet) this year though

Went to Collectormania today and got autographs from Maryam d'Abo and Caroline Munro.
Madeline Smith is there tomorrow. I'm extremely tempted to nip back to Milton Keynes so I can get her autograph as well.

Well, I went to Collectormania again, for the second day in a row, just so I could get Madeline Smith's autograph. I arrived there early, before it got really busy, and so I was able to chat to Madeline for several minutes. She was delightful, and still looks lovely.
Also got Caroline Munro's autograph again, this time on a wonderful photo of her in the movie Starcrash (1979). She's really chatty, and seems to genuinely enjoy meeting her fans.
Finally, I got an autograph from Barbie Wilde. She's best known for playing the Female Cenobite in Hellbound: Hellraiser II, but the main reason I wanted her autograph was because I have fond memories of watching her review movies on the TV show Night Network - especially as she always used to dress up as a vampire, causing the other presenters to introduce her as "the Wilde Child."

I had fun at Collectormania (actually mostly for the other stuff I did!). I got all the autographs I wanted pretty quickly as well. I was especially impressed by Amber Benson who was deeply concerned by my broken toe and ordered me to go home immediately and put my feet up. heh. She is stunning in real life and took a lot of time to chat to people as well despite having a busy queue. What a star!

The May-Day Bank Holiday is upon us, which means it's Collectormania time again. Anybody going this weekend?

Went to Collectormania with a friend yesterday. Neither of us got any autographs - there just wasn't anybody there whom I'm particularly a fan of. But being the sad comic book geek that I am, I bought a few trade paperbacks from one of the dealers' tables: The Cross Bronx, Bomb Queen - Woman of Marse Destruction, and Death's Head volume one.

Went to Collectormania in Milton Keynes today. Spent way too much money on various trade paperbacks and books about horror movies, and also got an autograph from Adrienne Barbeau, who's starred in some of my favourite films (The Fog, Escape from New York, and The Convent).

It's that time of year again. The May-Day Bank Holiday weekend means Collectormania in Milton Keynes. I went today, and got an autograph from the lovely Kelly Stables; www.inmag.com/actors/graphics/kelly_stables.jpgKelly is best known for appearing (totally unrecognisable under layers of latex make-up) as the evil child ghost Samara in the American remakes of The Ring and The Ring 2. She performed all of Samara's stunt scenes in the first film, doubling for the child actress who played the character in the rest of the movie, but in The Ring 2 Kelly portrayed Samara throughout. Kelly turned 30 in January, but she was able to play the ghost of a child because she's incredibly tiny. Four foot nothing. She's unbelievably cute as well.
