Oooh sounds good! I'm actually trying to research Christ's crucifixion and anything there is about the soldier who supposedly stabbed him (his name, or something)

well your biblical references for that part of the crucifixion are:
Matthew Ch 27 v32-34
Mark Ch15 v21-24
Luke Ch 23 v 26-31
John Ch 19 v17-37
that might help as a referrence point for trying to trace the soldier. John is the only gospel that refers to the spear though.

no problem....I just modified one of the verse referrences, I didn't have it quite right and like I said, John is the only biblical reference to the actual spear. It doesn't name the soldier. Oh I have just found this article though www.holyspiritinteractive.net/columns/williamsaunders/straightanswers/47.aspwhich names the soldier as Longinus, formally Cassius before he converts to christianity. |

Cassius, eh? Interesting! See, he's a character in the series and I wanted his name to be accurate! I named him Marius to fill in hehe |

The re-write is so much better than the original pilot I put on the net. All of the characters are changed. The main character's now a male instead (I felt there were far too many female leads popping up in web series and wanted to do something different). The Catholic Religion plays a heavy part, but not in a Touched By an Angel sense, lol, more in a Stigmata sense. Tis cool! Ahh cool, which Web Series do you follow? |

A few; Gods, Somewhere Inbetween, I've read a few Ravenshill episodes too but all the one's I've even glanced at seemed to have female leads and I felt it was time for a change! I love it JimJamz - I think I'll use it for the character! It's a really powerful name, I think! It means "Vain" which works out quite well. |
