Hi there, welcome to the Hex forum!
Before you begin posting, I've set up a few guidelines that I'd like you all to follow, just to maintain peace and keep things simple for everyone. Anyone found violating these rules will be warned ONCE and then banned for two weeks. If they come back and do it again, they'll be banned permanently without warning.
1. No flaming. This should be obvious. We're not in nursery school here. Any disagreements should be dealt with maturely and any tiffs between members should be dealt with over e-mail, not here.
2. No swearing. I have a censor in here anyway, but some people like to put spaces between the letters so the world spells itself out. Don't do this, cos I read every post here and I'll find any swearing!
3. No "net speak". It's annoying and unreadable. If you don't know what I mean, this is net speak: "Thx 4 ur email uva day, it woz gr8. Will rply sn." Any posts like this will just be deleted.
4. If you're homophobic or don't like Hex to the point of thinking it's the worst show on television, you're welcome to point this out (free speech and all) but please see Rule 1.
5. PLEASE, no posts just to let us know how many posts you've made. We can see that in your post count.
6. Please post relevant topics in relevant forums. For example, a post about last night's Corrie won't do much good in the Hex related forum now will it? Seems obvious, but you'd be surprised.
6b. PLEASE - relevant topics in relevant forums! I can't stress this enough as it just makes life alot easier for everyone!
7. No hotlinking website images. If there's an image you would really like to put up here for whatever reason, IM me first to say you'd like it up here, as this would use up bandwidth and the more people that look at it, would suck up bandwidth. Unauthourised posts of images will be deleted without warning.
8. Sigs are permitted, but please ensure there's no "adult" material or nudity in them (or links to the same) and try not to make your signature too big, as those on a dial up connection are gonna suffer from it. And you can't pull a fast one cos I can just jump into your profile and delete it!
9. No posts asking if people are online or just to say that you're bored or whatever. Make your posts worthy of discussion. You can tell by the "Who's Online" table if anyone is here.
