What's the origin of your screen name? I thought of this thread when I asked Devlin, so I thought I'd make a topic out of it.

Mine's my actual nickname that everyone calls me at home! Here's the strange and unusual story, lol...

[glow=red,2,300]I went around my friends house for a night out, but instead of ringing the bell, I knocked the door. The reason for that was because I have a firm belief that every time I ring a bell, it won't work, and I'll be stuck outside looking rather loony, pushing a button that does a fat load of nothing. Anyway, I gets myself inside and she laughs and asks me... "why didn't I ring the bell?" I shrug, but she tells me I'm a little Kneetroll.... and thus, the Kneetroll was born![/glow]

Well, Becky's my name so no explanation necessary.

But my site (depressed cow) was named such because I suffer from depression and in Hebrew my name means heifer (cow). ;D

Mine is the name of Seth's toy horse in the OC I am quite unhealthily obsessed with the OC, and Seth is brilliant

I quite often go by 'StrangeMark' around the net as well...that's the name I use on my website actually. That originated in a Richard Coyle chatroom. Richard Coyle is Jeff from Coupling...he starred as John Strange in Strange. As soon as the Strange pilot had been on tv, I launched my StangeOnline website and I'm still pretty obsessed with it in general...but anyway I digress, I enterred this chatroom one day and said "Hi I'm Mark" and someone there goes "oh, Strange Mark?" so it kinda stuck!!

My name comes from soemthing one of my favourite authors, Neil Gaiman, wrote in the front of a book he signed for me. I liked the idea of dreaming dangerously.

Hah a common mistake My Dad thought that too when he saw me posting something one day, had to explain all about the OC hehe.

I already posted about my user name on another thread but will do so again for those that may not have seen it!
When i was 13 i read a book about an artist who trespasses on a rock star's farm. The rock star and the artist share a psychic conection but don't neccesarily get on. The Rock star was named Paul Devlin and was sexy in a mean, moody, and arrogant way a la Azazeal .
I have been in love with that character for years( though that may sound totally sad to you all!)
