Yeah, that about sums it all up. If the bible is true, then a hella lot of people are going to hell, so y'no, we'll just have to deal with it.

Woo go Grams!
Lol I am a Christian but I am 110% on the gay rights wagon, to me it's more about personal beliefs, yes I believe in God and (some of) the Bible and all that jazz but then I also believe in individuality, gay rights, making your own choices and not letting the bible dictate your every move because if you study it cover to cover that would be near impossible as the whole thing contradicts itself. But each to their own this is just my opinion on the subject after studying Theology at A-level my opinions sort of took on a life of their own!! ;D

Im not religious at all. I kinda dont see how there can be an all-seeing, all-knowing god who created us all when theres so much suffering in the world. If he designed the perfect world then it just doesnt make sense if theres so many flaws Thats just my opinion though. I dont mind people believeing in god, I just dont believe in religion. I see it as something used to control and make money.

I would give you an answer to that but it's kinda pointless, if you don't believe fair enough! If we all believed in the same thing then things would be a little chaotic I think

yes i'm kind of glad it's not to everyones taste, but it deffiantely is to mine ;D
i just did my media studies hw and continuing the discussion awhile ago about how sterotypical and hypocritical (teen) magazines are it also seems these people make the assumption that all girls this age are into: make-up soap gossip "hunky" guys but the thing that really annoyed me was they seem to portray being interested in the same sex as a bad thing. I remember a girl writing in saying: dear blah blah blah i think i'm into girls and it's really worrying me but i'm not ashamed, i'm just afraid what my friends will think, am i normal? blah blah
And the people replied back like "it's just a phase" "you'll probably get over it" etc. I know lots of girls in my class used to get alot of joy out of making fun of those pages and wondering if anyone they knew had "secretly" written in *shakes head in shame*

Oh god, totally. The typical reply is 'Your probably straight, this is just a phase blah blah blah'. They also have all those articles on hunky guys and how to 'blag a fit lad', they dont seem to realise not all teenage girls are totally obsessed with guys! I have long stopped buying them, they get on my nerves now

Why do people assume people are gay when they're not homophobic?

probably because they're not accepting of any ideas but their own and they get suspicious when people don't want to go along with them

Exactly. Thats how all the questioning over my sexuality started (even though its kind true but meh ) Its like to be straight you have to be a narrow minded pig.

that's why i find bi/gay/lesbian people so much nicer, because they're open-minded and have a greater need for a decent personality ;D

Exactly. Im glad im bi because its made me so much more open minded about minoritie groups rights etc. I asked my friend one time why she was so homophobic and what her problem with it was and she just said 'Its disgusting'. The thing is they have no clue why they actually are like that. I think there all secretly insecure about there own sexualitys so they create this homophobic facade to try and get all suspicion away from them
