I must admit, I would be shocked to see any teacher at my school at a gig or something, except the art teacher! He is sooo teenage like! Like he never grew up! he's ace!

I think the reason we all used to see them as like "teachers and that's it" is cos at school we looked up to them as kind of an authority... someone who told you what to do, cos they were "higher up" than you. Seeing them outside of that position can make you realise that they're no better than you, just older and better paid P.S: I'm rather drunk right now, so ignore the rambling!# P.P.S: I'm off to The Academy (birmingham) now, and LESS THAN JAKE are guest DJ's!!!! How fricking COOL is that!?

Yes, I thought there was something funny about all teachers smelling of coffee, now I know the secret.

LOL...the British education system would fall apart if there were a tea or coffee shortage I tell you. I certainly wouldn't be able to face the little.....angels....before mid-day without caffine.

lol ;D...I could never be a teacher, a class ful of chavs would just horrify me...I can see what you mean. LOL too true. I loathed school with a fiery burning passion. I couldn't even face going to College or Uni after that. I much prefer the non-school environment. People have more money to hang out and drink on a weekend and are generally less tetchy in the mornings ;D hehehe

heh...what can I say...madness runs in my family. I loath teaching at times but secretly I love it...although not so much today after 11 hours of parent/pupil meetings. guh.

It's an entirely different life though when you're a teacher it's not like "going to school". I love teaching but I do think that it's a job that you have to come out of before you get worn down by it. I did something else for 3 years first so it gave me enough of a break from education.
