Yep! and they give us module tests too, and they put loadsa stress on us about them, turns out there only worth 5% of your overall mark. And they've got us doing written work and examinations in drama, which even the teacher thinks is ridiculous, cos its all exactly the same as english. Whats the point?

Yes...also we have 3 science exams yet we only get marked on them all together, same with history had 2 history exams, yet only got marked over all...if we were marked for every single exam separate, i would & other people have done much better. Oh i hated those exams we had to do before the proper exams. The whole exams system is really unfair .

I can tell you that the exams are marked as fairly as they can be. You'r history papers are marked seperately and then they combine the grades with your coursework to give you a final grade, it's as fair as it can be and contrary to popular belief the examiners mark by looking for what they CAN give marks for not what mistakes they can take away marks for. You start with 0 and then you get the maximum marks that you deserve within the level you're writing at rather than starting with full marks then having points deducted for what you get wrong. So I can tell you that History at least is marked very fairly.

hehe and that's what ya get for slagging off history exams on the same board as a history teacher! I never really had a problem with exams, coursework was the pain for me because if you didn't do it or did really crap it's usually your own fault. Well it was my own fault when I failed my design coursework anyway...

I hated art coursework!! I hated art history too..I'd rather just draw what I like or at least draw and not have to write a bloody flippin' essay for each picture! grrargh
