I'd be up for going, and I'd say my friend would as well. The only thing I'm worried about if getting there because I can't drive (lol) and I know nothing about Birmingham or how to get there. Plus, I probably couldn't afford to stay in a hotel (student!) which means for me it'd be a go up as early as possible and then leave lol

well in terms of hotels, travelodges are great because they do family rooms for £40 a night and you can get up to 4 people in them so it works out v cheap, there are ways and ways around expensive accomadation for conventions.

i would be happy to help in any way i possibly could contribute to getting the con up and running and i know some people that might want to come, but if you need a hand or help with anything or monetary let us know and i will see what i can do from down here

DD has offered to think up designs for tickets/flyers, so that's cool.

Here are some other things I may need help with:

- "staff" at the con - collecting tickets on the door, helping with hosting/competitions, etc... (note: sadly staff - hence the speechmarks - cannot be paid as I am not yet rich lol)

- Stuff to do - I need ideas of things to keep us amused at the convention. It won't be a large affair don't forget, so think of stuff that won't cost the earth and take up too much space, and please be realistic, like no saying "ooh, get the cast to show up!" cos it's not that simple.

well i could help out as staff if you need me just give me a shout (do i get a staff t shirt to say im a staff member??? lol)

as for things to do you could have a quiz/test your knowledge thing and have everyone hand in their answers and give a prize to the highest score,
you could get people to re-enact scenes from hex, or you could just sit everyone down and vote for their fav episode from series one and watch it???
