Aw that's so sweet. I just watched it and I'm so glad we got to see David Tenant on this one. That way it wouldn't look like they cheaply replaced Eccelston. As for the episode, I loved it and I was like "nooooo!" when I thought poor Cap'n Jack was dead! I never liked him when he first came into it, but he's one of my fave characters! I am however, very disappointed that they killed off Lynda. She really was sweet and the actress who played her was really good! (though i guess in a way she did need to die) DOCTOR KISSED ROSE!!!! need I say more? Oh yeah JACK KISSED DOCTOR AND ROSE! hehehehe And btw, Billie Piper is staying with the show until at least the end of series 2... im actually quite glad. She kicked ARSE as the heart of the tardis thingy. That scene was so effing cool. And I'm sweating like a pirate in new orleans weather. nice.

I tell you, I dunno what it is about Daleks, but everytime I see them I giggle like a li'l nancy girl. LOL.
The one flaw I found with it was this: Davros. I was looking forward to seeing the leader of the Dalek race, yet he seemed... inadequate, somehow. I dunno.
However, I felt sorry for the Daleks as well. They hate their own existence. So therefore they're suffering.

Yeah I quite liked the idea that they'd created a religion and in doing so had actually made themselves more human. I wasn't impressed with Davros and my lil bro wasn't either (he's the acid test of cool things hehe - he's a geek in training.)

What I liked was the subtle yet obvious hint at the Daleks being like terrorists. They see themselves as missionaries for their God and therefore see themselves as immortal.
Much like terrorists, the Daleks believed that their 'religion' was gospel and any other way blasphemed against their 'god'.
I just watched the final episode again and there's something I didn't quite get: Bad Wolf.
When Rose came out of the Tardis she said that she had "created herself". What does this mean?
She also said that she scattered the words Bad Wolf across Time and Space so that it would eventually lead her back to Satellite 5 to save the Doctor. But it isn't explained. I didn't understand it at all.
If anyone can explain that I'd be grateful, lol.

If I understand it correctly, the idea of scattering the words was that, everywhere they went they came across the words Bad Wolf either overtly or subtley in every episode. They were put there by God-like Rose to make sure she figured out what she had to do when it came to the crunch so she could look in to the tardis and become God-like Rose, therefore becoming a kind of holding pattern that would make sure that the Daleks were destroyed. Rose was the big bad wolf come to blow the Daleks away and she created herself by leaving the clues for herself.
(I think!)
I like how they put Bad Wolf not only in the show but on all the websites (UNIT and who is Doctor Who and the Geocomtec websites all mentioned it one way or another) and even in the novels that have been released.

The Bad Wolf build up was fantastic, especially the bit where the Dr confronts davros about it and finds out it isn't him, but I just felt that one bit was the letdown considering how much they'd built up to it.

agreed, they could have kept the mystery going on a bit. Plus now they've already created a kind of ultimate get out clause....well the heart of the tardis can destroy anything if someone's willing to take it in. Although I appreciate that they've set up the fact it's something no one should ever do.

Yeah like, it's the ultimate power, but it'll kill you.

Yeahh me too, I understood it as meaning what DD just said about the sign for god-like rose, but it seemed like the whole series was building up to it and then poof that's it! I mean I loved the whole god-like rose 'i am the bad wolf' bit' but like you say it seemed a bit of a letdown. Although...and I could be very wrong here, but I swear Russell T.Davies said this isn't the last we'll see of 'bad wolf' so there could be more to come..
