I just watched the Dalek episode and I have to say I loved it. The introduction to the Dalek was just amazing, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! *is surpressing urge to make Dr Who fansite* lol

It was brilliant wasn't it? Best episode yet most definatly!! Every second of it was brilliant. I think it was possible because it wasn't a funny episode like the others have been...its was played straight, lots of tension!! Very enjoyable!! Oooh a plug, I like it What I loved about this episode is they made the Daleks scary, dangerous, invincible, yet completley and utterly human at the same time. In other words, he was the perfectly flawed villain. And yes I agree, best episode ever!

You did? Huh? Ywah I agree, it was really interesting to see a very human dalek...I've taken to calling him Rose-ek. What I also really liked, was while we got to see the human side of the Dalek, the doctor got more and more....twisted I guess...it was a very cool episode. And I quite enjoyed having Todd from Corrie around haha. Simon Pegg and Tamsin Greig next week, woo! And yes, I'm an excellent plugger

Oh god, I nearly had a heart attack when I saw Simon Pegg on the "next week" clip. That's one episode I WON'T be missing! I lurve Simon Pegg, he's so talented, and he never fails to make me laugh, no matter what he does. I'm gonna miss Eccelston when he leaves

I'm gonna miss Eccelston when he leaves Yeah me too. He's so good at it! He's got very good range...and its not like he's ever going to be able to escape being labelled forever as Doctor Who, so I don't see why he's trying!! Sylvester McCoy says he thinks there's a deeper reason and its just an excuse...hmm. I liked David Tennant in Cassanova...I'll be interested to see whether his Doctor is English or Scottish!

They've gotta keep him English, hardcore fans will eat the BBC for breakfast if they don't!
Eccelston is a fantastic actor and I think he did Doctor Who so well it's untrue. He doesn't wanna be type-cast cos he's a film actor and most actors that get stuck in TV rarely work afterwards. Just look at most of the cast of Buffy or Friends! Great shows, uber successful, but you only see them in small movies give or take a couple.

He was a fruitloop in that, no question! But he's a great actor and seems to become any role he plays! Though saying that, Gone in 60 Seconds was a pants movie lol.

It was a very very good episode. I can understand why Christopher Ecclestone wants to leave though. It's not like he doesn't get much work and I can see why he doesn't want to get pigeonholed....no mystery in that especially. I think David Tennant will be equally as good.

EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE! I was very pleased of the use of the world "extrapolate" by the dalek. Hehe. DD: I hope David Tenant is as good, I've not seen anything with him in it yet. It's just a thing about scouser accents, some of them are so cheeky they're loveable!
