That's usually the trouble. Some shows don't realise they're errors until they're cancelled for them.

Matthew Fox as a detective who sees dead people? Heard of it, but never watched it.

I think that the first couple of episode of Tru Calling were good then it was dull until Jack came in but I was really disappointed with the last eppy of season2 on the dvd!! The last of season1 was so omg-ish whilst this one started good but ended tripe

The last episode of season two was a-maz-ing. It's just a shame that they couldn't have wrapped up the storylines a lot more quickly.
Come on, the image of Richard on the verge of killing Harrison - only for the day to reset and Richard's 'metaphorical seduction' of Harrison to get on Jack's side continues. Not only that, there's the increasingly fresh spins on the format after Jack, and the final Christmas party when Jack and Richard dicuss everything from getting Harrison on their side, on about the 'mole' and the whole thing that would've happened with Jenson. It sucks that it was that episode it ended on, but they are the best episodes of the series.

The episode started good but the end with them all standing around for Christmas was cheesy and too quickly tied up

Apart from Tru and American Gothic another show i love and miss is Popular, i mean where did that dissapear to? That was hilarious! Ahh, the show that almost took over my 'favourite' show mantle. I loved Mary Cherry (as shown in the QUotes thread), she comes second in my favourite all time TV characters list. What happened with Popular was the fact that the second season began to get the lowest ratings EVER for the WB. Dropping down to 2 million and one episode getting 1.9 million. THe second season was also beginning to sway in quality by mid-season two. It only took me until around this August to finally watch the last few episodes of season two (at 2am! the only time I think Sky One showed the episodes after Five showed them) - and I can see why it lost popularity (pun intended). The series began to turn people off by moving away slightly from it's offbeat style and uniqueness shown in season one - and stories began to get more serious, with Mary Cherry's 'descent' (but still maintaining her hilarious charm) and Nicole's search for her mother, Lily and Josh's sickly romance and 'marriage', to Harrison's cancer to everyone getting along. It wasn't until the finale where they began to build up the Brooke and Sam rivalry where things began to get better. But it was too late, the low ratings made the WB cull the show and it never made the 22nd episode of the second season - so the two part season finale was never completed. It ended on a cliffhanger where Harrison told Sam and Brooke who he chose, Brooke ran out and got hit by a car driven by a drunkern Nicole. Now the creator, Ryan Murphy (who also made Nip/Tuck!) has revealed stuff about what would've happened in the third season - and how the finale would've been resolved. You can find out by looking in www.tv.com and searching for 'Popular'. I hope that answers your question.

I just love the spoof of teen drama sweep stakes in season finales the first finale has where it checks off all it's stunts AND even has people e-mailing their opinions in. 'KILL OFF MIKE MCQUEEN! I luv you Carmen!'
