Yep, one of the few perks Well makes up for the fact that you cant feel your legs by the end of the shift because of standing for eight hours.

lol i get like that because i'm constantly moving all day, by time i get home i'm ready for a bubble bath, a beer and my book all at the same time

Constantly moving is OK but thats not really how it is. There's a lot of refiling and organising to be done in the mornings, so they pass quickly, but the afternoons are mostly just standing and serving on the till....I find just standing hurts your legs more than walking about.

yes standing still is agony...all that pressure on the balls of your feet! That's why I walk around lots when I'm teaching otherwise my feet murder me.

Indeed, my feet are murdering me as I type. Of course it doesnt help that I am low on comfy, sensible shoes...most of my shoes are flatties with not very thick soles, I tend to wear my baseball boots in there...I need to get some trainers with nice thick, comfy soles.
