OK, dont know if any of you guys remember me mentioning this, but I've signed up for a three month volunteer programme with Travellers worldwide...one month in Sri Lanka at an Elephant orphanage and two months in a lion breeding project in Zimbabwe (looking after, feeding and playing with lion cubs ;D and also looking after and riding horses) and although the cost is going to be less than I thought, I think I'm going to have to do some fundraising. I plan on asking if my dads company can sponsor me, I might ask Fopp as well, but I need ideas for a sponsored something-or-other to raise extra cash. Any interesting and novel ideas?

We used to hold social events whenever we needed to raise cash, making sure there were good raffles and for some extra money ask local companies if they would like some advertising at the event, takes a while and many people to organize it, but we've always managed to raise at least a couple of hundred per night.
