NEW!! We recorded stuff again for last night's rehearsal (19/02/06) and I put it on the net. honestly honestly? Most of the time I just couldn't make out what was going on, not because of the size, I just couldn't really hear the music or the lyrics or anything.
what's the aim of the video? A kind of "behind the scenes" kind of thing?

Aye I know it ain't a perfect vid for the aforementioned reasons and also it was only recorded on a little camcorder, so the sound is only expected to be a bit muffled.
The trouble is, say for example if Bass can't hear himself over Guitar, he'll turn his Bass up rather than turning the Guitar down a little and it just gets to the point where people are playing over each other. Especially me, cos there's three of them (bass, drums, guitar) and one of me, and all musicians forget that!

oh absolutely, I think that was probably the problem, the instruments were all amped up too high and on film it creates that kind of bizzare white noise.  |

From the bit of playing you guys did you sound pretty good. It's better than the quality of video I have for my band! Our doesn't sync up, but I hope to hear more of your work. I think I'll dig it.

And thankee. At our next practice, everyone else is gonna try turning down just a notch, so the vocals stand out a bit more.
And we're filming it so I might slap it up here, hehe.

Here is the aforementioned horridly out of sync video. It's a practice in a garage from about 5 years ago. This was when cell phone came technology was new so the quality blows. lol BTW I love the band site Kneetroll.
