Does anyone else feel like the world has gone even more bonkers recently? It really has!!! I feel sorry for the Muslims with this cartoon but I think that the "lets behead people" types just need to read about their own religions!!!!

In my experience, there are as many double standards in Islam as there are in many other religions. We have kids who pick and choose at school when they're going to be dutiful muslims and when they're not. Mostly when it comes to the tenets of having a thirst for knowledge and respect for those with education. (of course it doesn't count for me because I suffer the severe disability of being a female ) Fortunately most of the muslims I know and work with are pleasant respectful people, but you always get extremists. I think the cartoons were out of order because they were purposefully supposed to provoke this reaction but the reaction was too extreme. I feel bad for moderate muslims, as I said.

Well, I must say I'm starting not belive in God. In my opinion, the God and the bible were conceived by people who hadn't had any purpose of life. They hadn't wanted to be powerless and feel so small. They started to belive in any higher power, fate or something like that. It all evoluted to worshipping God. I think that belief in anything is adventage or disadventage of human abstract thinking. Why don't the animals belive in God? ' Coz they cannot think in the abstract way. It may seem funny, but think it over y'all. I admire people who belive in God purely, they needn't any prooves. I couldn't do it. As I spent my last X-mas at home, I noticed it's not worshipping born of the Jesus anymore, but it became more traditional. It is already the tradition. We are used to get presents, eat the special supper and so on...but who remembers about the God, and giving birth the Jesus??? I am saying only this what I have noticed in my country lately... ;D

it's very much true here in the UK as well. Everyone happily has the Christmas holidays, some might even make the annual visit to church but for most people it's meaningless as a religious holiday now, which in a way is sad for people who do believe in God and Jesus.

But what can we do?? I think nothing. The people must see what they do, and realize how wrong they are...
