Okay, this is for my web-series that I'm writing... It's just the pilot episode and I'm wondering if people could perhaps give it a quick read and give their comments on characters, storyline, pacing, etc? You all seem to do a pretty good job at reviewing Hex critically, so would anyone mind doing it for this? www.strangethoughts.co.uk/undeadengland/undead_1x01.htmIt's not incredibly long it's the equivalent of 30 minutes of screen time. Thanks!

I liked it! From what I read I got a good enough sense of most other characters, May, Will, Flick etc to keep me reading. I also really liked the broadcaster, and how she came back with a hockystick was it? That was cool. It'd definatly be enough to keep me watching, before I chickened out and got scared ( ) hehe! The idea is good, do I detect a slight influence from 28 Days later? And if not, then it's quite similar to it, idea wise, although it's got a completely different set of characters, if you get what I mean. Is it set in America? For some reason I got that kind of feeling, but am still a little unsure! Love how you portrayed the undead, and Mark's transformation from a living human being to his transition to dying and then 'morphing' if you like, into one of the Undead. Overall, I'd say it's pretty darn cool! Hope that gives you some insight/or was what you wanted as a response! If not, sorry

Yeah i got the 28 Days later vibe from it too but i was kinda hooked. I liked it, if i was May i would've given Flick a slap LOL , i'm intrigued as to whats going on with the guy in the jeep!?...what i want to find out is what caused all this?
Character-wise, obviously i can't really comment much as theres not enough back story to them at the moment to build an opinion but so far i liked them!
Next installment please hehehe ;D

Thanks for the comments!
Aye, I admit, my zombies were a mixture of Dawn of the Dead (new version) and 28 Days Later - the slow bumbling "Romero Zombies" just didn't feel threatening enough.
I am re-writing that episode, so look for a re-post of it sometime soon!
