Oh how cool it would be to speak welsh hehe. I'm learning spanish at the moment and its surprisingly easy to pick up if you put the time and effort into it. I did French at school and even got a GCSE B in the subject but all i can remember is Bonjour and comment t'appelle tu? .......useless!!!!

German is pretty straightforward, more so than French or even English. I can manage conversational German and a few phrases in Irish Gaelic, Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, Greek and a couple of greetings in Polish.
I'm learning Russian at the moment, learning a new alphabet is fun.

Cool, yeah it's what i pretty much decided on was German rather than the others, but it's just nice to know what others think ;D

I'm actually teaching myself Bulgarian at the moment because from what I can tell, there's just nowhere that teaches it properly in a college or whatever! I just love the language!

I studied German at school and found it really easy, I got an A* at GCSE level and can still hold a conversation now. Once you get over the feminine/masculine verbs etc it's quite straightforward and easy to pick up.

It seems I only have enough room in my brain for two languages. Right now, that's English and a bastardized amalgamation of every language I've ever studied. I just can't keep em straight. Spanish, I'm near fluent but pretty rusty. German, Italian, Dutch, French and Russian I can get around well enough with the touristy basics.

I'm learning Spanish in school, and I enjoy it a lot.
It's pretty easy to learn.

I haven't studied German since 2003... and the 2002/2003 year was awful. I could get the grammer - my main problem was remembering vocab...
EDIT: So what I did is download some German songs...
Wir lieben unsere Autos mehr als unsere Frau'n Denn deutschen Autos können wir vertrau'n Gott hat die Erde nur einmal geküsst Genau an dieser Stelle, wo jetzt Deutschland ist Wir sind überall die besten - natürlich auch im Bett Und zu Hunden und Katzen besonders nett...
Teehee...I find that song hilarious...
