I wonder why people sign up for a message board, but never post anything? I mean, yes, some people want to check out the "crowd" before joining in, but I've found some members on here that joined in October 2004 and have never posted anything at all! It's obvious these people haven't lurked or they'd have surely posted by now. Just curious - why DO people sign up for boards if they're not gonna post? lol  |

Maybe they just forget or are the shy type and like reading through other people's thoughts on the forum to see if they have the same opinions as them...and mean to post but just don't know what to say LOL!! ;D Or they thought this forum was about a completly different thing  |

gosh i remember my lurking days....i must of lurked on here for months before i posted... it just felt like i was butting in on conversations which made me feel like an outsider...which is dumb....but hey here i am, you can't shut me up now ;D

Seems weird now but it took me weeks to work up the nerve to do something other than lurk! Two years though. Hmm. Does seem a bit excessive...
Are there a lot of members who've never posted then, even just to say hi on the newbie board?

i dont know wether i like to call myself a lurker, but well i guess i could be. Sometimes it never really crosses my mind and then i dont want to say somethign after people have already been discussing something. i feel out of place. Its just akwardness and laziness i think. Then sometimes i'll be on a forum all the time but no one else will and then i'll feel needy. I dont understand really but i think im one of those people who doesnt really come here that often Mostly because i never bookmark and forget etc etc.
