So they showed three episodes of Murphy's Law on BBC America - happened to be three with Michael Fassbender guest starring. I tivoed it because - hello - Michael Fassbender! Anyway, it's an excellent show - even disregarding MF - I wish BBCA would show the entire series/seasons. They picked just these three eps and showed them at 3 AM - way to make the show known to the US audience... Was it popular in the UK? I'm going to seek out the DVDs and watch the rest. Warning: fangirl drool to follow.(And MF with earrings? Love them! Even as a two-bit hood, the man is just sexy.)

I was gonna email you and see how you liked it! lol He was truly a twobit hood as you put it and he was D*** sexy at it!!! I did have a hard time getting use to the accent. I will keep them on my TIVO until I can also get my hands on the DVDs. Netflix, BTW, doesnt have them! I would also watch Murphy's Law as a regular show if it was aired here. It was really good....and I am annoyed that I am left hanging!!
P.S. I watched A Bear Named Winnie yesterday and it was TOTAL SCMALTZ!!! but schmaltz with MF so defintely worth watching once! THere were some wonderful shots of his beautiful eyes <sigh> and his accent was interesting in it. It was american/canadian with a slight irish touch to it every once in awhile.

Yeah, watched it with my husband, and we're both pretty good with accents, and we missed about 15% of what they were saying. Oh well - both enjoyed it anyway!
Not surprised Winnie was schmaltzy - LOL - I think I'll pass on that one, unless it's shown on tv....
I checked into getting hold of the other Murphy's Law episodes, and can't find them available anywhere in the US. You can buy them on Amazon.co.uk for about $70 US - it's not bad for three seasons, but I'm still reluctant. Husband tried to find them online for download, but no luck.
Going to write to BBCA and request that they show the rest - maybe if they get a bunch of requests they'll do it!

So who knows. I may put it on my xmas list. My DH is being quite indulgent of my MF obsession I should put my knew multi region DVD player to good use! I also have a couple Christina Cole DVDs on my netflix Queu. I am looking forward to seeing her in something else also. Tina

Is anyone else starting to get slightly sick of James Nesbitt appearing EVERYWHERE! I mean the man is on TV one way or another pretty much all the time. Great as he is and all.

Looking back over the last several years, there have been times when it seemed that Nesbitt and Robson Green had every leading role in TV drama sewn up between the two of them.
