It's basically about this lad I like. He's not exactly a friend of mine although we have friends, we've never really crossed paths. Anyway last year I met him randomly at a 21st, turns out it was his sisters and we swapped numbers. Nothing really happened and then I went out into town after a party and was walking through the night club looking for my friends when I randomly bumped into him. I'd changed my number so we swapped numbers again and I left it at that.
Then I got invited out by one of his friends as well as him a couple of weeks after. So I went out and then he spent most of the night just talking to his mates, while I spent most of my evening talking to the friend that also invited me out. Eventually we decided to go home cause we live near each other and were tired and it was late. When I said bye to the lad I like he was all "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you much. Did you have a good time?" and I told him it was fine, it was his mates birthday I didn't expect him to just talk to me all night and that we'd chat next time. etc.
Then we txted for a bit, only problem is he has a tendancy to never txt anyone back, and if he does it's rare. Then we decided we wanted to go out but none of our mates were out so I suggested him and I hit the town as we both wanted to go out. I panicked when I didn't hear back from him and txted him saying if he didn't want it to be just us 2 then he could bring some friends which he did in the end. But tis cool cause I get on with his mate.
We had a proper brilliant night, but he was going on holiday a couple of days later and I didn't want to kiss him before hand, so it took the pressure off that night.
Then he txted me the FIRST night he was away, asking me to give him something to talk about cause he couldn't sleep. Then I didn't hear from him til after he came back.
We went out two weeks ago, had an ace town and kissed. Then he said all the stuff to me about taking me out, and then we txted all through the night after we'd gone home. Then the following Thursday I was out with friends and I saw him and he just seemed quite distant. I didn't want to hang around him when he was acting like that so I left him and his mates alone.
Then when we went to another nightclub later in the evening they were there and I asked him if I did anything wrong, and he shook his head no, but then didn't really come near me for the rest of the night.
I was with a couple of my boy mates and one of them stole my phone and txted him as me saying 'is it worth meeting up before i go away, is it going anywhere?' which I didn't know about til the next morning. Anyway he didn't txt me back.
And then when I got home at 4am I was upset and pissed off so I txted him saying how everyone that night had said I was silly for chasing him and that he should just tell me straight if he's not interested as I really like him. I didn't get a reply either.
Then I went away to see my family in Scotland which was a welcome relief to get away although all I could do was think about him
I went out last night with some friends and txted him not expecting a reply, just saying are you out tonight etc. He then txt me back saying no, none of his lot were out, but have a good night.
I usually put 'xx' at the end of every message I send to anyone but I didn't when I sent that one to him so I dunno if that made a difference.
I told one of my good mates who I haven't seen in ages and she said he's sending mixed signals. I know this guys ex and when I asked he she said that he sometimes gets like that when he's had a drink. I dunno, I don't want to leave it cause I do really like him. I don't know if I should bother txting him at all though. Argh! Help!!!
