Hi there, welcome to the Hex forum!
Before you begin posting, I've set up a few guidelines that I'd like you all to follow, just to maintain peace and keep things simple for everyone. Anyone found violating these rules will be warned ONCE and then banned for two weeks. If they come back and do it again, they'll be banned permanently without warning.
1. No flaming. This should be obvious. We're not in nursery school here. Any disagreements should be dealt with maturely and any tiffs between members should be dealt with over e-mail, not here.
2. No swearing. I have a censor in here anyway, but some people like to put spaces between the letters so the world spells itself out. Don't do this, cos I read every post here and I'll find any swearing!
3. No "net speak". It's annoying and unreadable. If you don't know what I mean, this is net speak: "Thx 4 ur email uva day, it woz gr8. Will rply sn." Any posts like this will just be deleted.
4. If you're homophobic or don't like Hex to the point of thinking it's the worst show on television, you're welcome to point this out (free speech and all) but please see Rule 1.
5. PLEASE, no posts just to let us know how many posts you've made. We can see that in your post count.
6. Please post relevant topics in relevant forums. For example, a post about last night's Corrie won't do much good in the Hex related forum now will it? Seems obvious, but you'd be surprised.
9. No posts asking if people are online or just to say that you're bored or whatever. Make your posts worthy of discussion. You can tell by the "Who's Online" table if anyone is here.
10. If you have a spoiler (or a theory which could possibly be a spoiler) and wish to start a new thread about it, you must write SPOILER in capitals in the subject header.
10a. If you want to add a spoiler to a regular thread, when you've typed your spoiler, highlight the text and clicking on the COLORS bar above the smiley's choose BLACK (no other colour, please) and put "highlight to read"
11. No links to download sites and or software should be posted on the forum. I understand these sites are legal, but it's obvious that 99% of the time they're used for illegal downloading of copyrighted music.
12. If you've got two similar points to make, for example: Why did Cassie die? and Do you think Cassie will come back? please just write it in the same post, as they're basically the same discussion.
13. One account per user. As an admin, I can view the IP (Internet Provider) number of every user that comes on the board, so I'll know if you do it!
14. If you want to post an image in a thread, do so by all means, but if the image is a large one then simply post a link to it instead, as large images take time to load and can alter the look of the board.
15. Same goes for signatures. Images and banners are permitted, but please watch their size.
These rules seem like alot, but none the less, they are completley neccessary - PLEASE follow them and there'll be no problems.[/u]
