We are all building our equivilant of Medenham together, but what will our house/school be like.
No duplicate posts, add what you dream of, or even add the basics. Hopefully by the end ... We will have a house with plenty of evil activity!
I'll start... A sweeping Staircase.

A massive library and reading room, at least two stories tall with tight circular staircases, and upper walkways flanked by wooden hand-railings, with plenty of dimly lit corners and dead-end corridors in which dusty, forgotten volumes containing forbidden arcane knowledge can be found.

A grand main hall, complete with two huge fireplaces large enough to walk and stand inside it.Elaborate tapestries and silk adorn the walls.Long tables and benches covered with white linens, that can be moved back for celebrations (or sacrificial purposes).

since Medenham is a bording school, there should be loads of rooms at the back of the main school, and they should be good rooms, like 5 star hotel rooms, with 4 poster beds and overlook of the lovely countryside (prety much like the last post, but i was thinking like hotel building/ brick housing not so much the tower thing), and also in each room there should be a fireplace, and a lock on the door, we can all guess what thats for!

Secret passageways behind and inbetween the walls throughout the house, the entrances to which are hidden at the back of those large fireplaces, and behind bookcases and wooden panels. These passageways should also contain several priest-holes - hiding places that are cramped, but still big enough to stay and sleep in.
