Earthshock: Tales of the TARDIS is a Doctor Who spin-off which is a series of classic stories being presented as an omnibus and each are bookended by new content. It starts with Earthshock, a story with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and the swansong for Matthew Waterhouse as Adric. As I have seen all existing episodes of the classic series I won't get into greatly what Earthshock is about but instead address the new content here written by showrunner Russell T. Davies and directed by Joshua M.G. Thomas. For the new content it has Peter Davison reprising the Fifth Doctor and Janet Fielding as Tegan. The Doctor suddenly finds himself reunited with Tegan in the TARDIS but the quite the TARDIS they had known before. It is instead what is called the Remembered TARDIS. As the Doctor and Tegan recount their travels together they soon come to the topic of Adric and this leads into Earthshock. The Earthshock featured the Cybermen and as a result of what the Cybermen were planning in this story it saw the death of Adric. After the main feature is over we go back to the Doctor and Tegan as they are now.as they reflect on Adric. The new content is moving in this reunion between the Doctor and Tegan with the latter revealing what she has been doing since she left the former.

The Mind Robber: Episode 2. The Mind Robber is a story with the Second Doctor, Jamie and Zoe. As I have seen all existing episodes of the classic series I won't get into greatly what The Mind Robber is about but instead address the new content here written by Pete McTighe and directed by Joshua M.G. Thomas. For the new content it has Frazer Hines reprising Jamie and Wendy Padbury as Zoe. When Jamie and Zoe last travelled together with the Doctor it was in The War Games when the Time Lords sent each of them back to their own time with their memories of travelling with the Doctor erased. Here Jamie and Zoe suddenly found themselves reunited in the Remembered TARDIS and their memories of their travels with the Doctor restored. They talk about what they have been up to since their travels together and remembering what happened in The Mind Robber and leading to the showing of the story. After the main feature we go back to the older Jamie and Zoe, the former brings up Victoria on the time we met the Ice Warriors. This heartwarming reunion ends here and I can only imagine that afterwards the talks about the first Ice Warriors story. We the viewer don't see The Ice Warriors being retold here no doubt due to the fact that two of its six episodes are missing.
