Katrine now has a Facebook page, which contains some stunning pictures of her on the set of her new film, The Cosmonaut, as well as some background info (the first I've ever seen about her): Katrine de Candole is a German/French Actress and former fashion model born in Berlin. She studied both at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts and Rada in London. Since graduating Katrine has appeared in several TV and film productions. Credits include "Kingdom", "Between the Sheets" and "Casanova", as well as "Zen-Vendetta" and "X Men: First Class".Source

Katrine De Candole and Anna Wilson-Jones are both guest stars in this week's episode of Lewis, 'Fearful Symmetry'. 'Fearful Symmetry' turned out to be distinctly subpar: after a promising start and enjoyable set-up, it was full of pointless subplots that were never resolved, a rushed, convoluted resolution that smacked of the writer drawing lots to work out who the killer should be, and pretentious shots of people in mirrors, to ram home the fact that one of the characters (who wasn't the killer) was bipolar, while another (who was) had a split personality. On the bright side, it was a nice bonus getting two Hex stars for the price of one: Katrine De Candole, vamping it up as one half of a rich pair of swingers, and Anna Wilson-Jones at her frosty finest as a character with "maternal instincts just this side of Medea". There were some other familiar faces putting in an appearance: CiarĂ¡n McMenamin from Primeval/ Demons, and Torchwood/ Cape Wrath's Lucy Cohu. And with one glance at a graphic novel, Hathaway (who knows everything) proved his geek credentials. Not a complete waste of time, then--but still probably the poorest episode of Lewis to date.

Katrine is appearing in SyFy's Dominion -- the show based on the film Legion -- from next week's (US) episode, 'The Flood'. She's playing an archangel. Very Hexy.

Katrine is appearing in SyFy's Dominion, the show based on the film Legion. She's playing an archangel. Very Hexy. Thanks for posting this, orokiah (doesn't Katrine look fabulous in that pic?). Like Penny Dreadful, Dominion is a series that's very much on my radar (I've posted about it in The Prophecy thread in the General Chat section), but which I'm unable to genuinely whip up much enthusiasm for, as it's highly unlikely I'll be able to see it. While there's a slim chance the UK broadcasting rights for Dominion might be picked up by Channels Four or Five, the smart money says it'll probably get nabbed by either Watch, SyFy or Sky.

While there's a slim chance the UK broadcasting rights for Dominion might be picked up by Channels Four or Five, the smart money says it'll probably get nabbed by either Watch, SyFy or Sky. It's becoming increasingly difficult to tell what might end up where, or when. Star-Crossed appeared on Sky1 seemingly out of nowhere and was then unceremoniously shoved to Saturday nights after a handful of episodes. Channels on both sides of the paywall are increasingly picky (and ruthless: Continuum, Once Upon a Time, et al). And now there's Netflix and Amazon Prime to muddy the waters even further.

Dominion receives its UK premiere next week on Syfy, on Thursday 30th October at 10pm. I just knew it wouldn't end up on Freeview. I used to rely on SFX magazine to tell me what was happening in TV series that I wasn't able to watch (major storylines, important developments, etc), but over the last couple of years they've scaled back their television coverage so much that it's now practically non-existant.
