I just got my second tattoo ;D It's an ankh and it's on my wrist and it's purrrrty! Trouble is, it hurt like a BIATCH! This isn't my tattoo, but for those who don't know what an Ankh is:  It's obviously bigger than that and slightly bulkier, but you get the picture! |

wicked! I can't see the pic  although I do know what ankh looks like and I'm sure it's very coool!! I'm gonna get a tattoo when I'm happier with my body..I'm on my way though i joined the gym today!! eek!!  |

yay That picture though looks absolute crap in comparison to the tattoo. It's nothing complicated, it's just really pretty. I've always like the The Ankh because not only has Ancient Egyptian Mythology fascinated me for my entire life, but it's their symbol for "life" Yeah man, I don't need no "make poverty history" bangle  |

I've always loved Egyptian history and mythology since I was at frist school..an Ankh tattoo is a very good choice!!

LMAO!  hehee. I just don't see the point in them purposely. I get their cause, and I'm all for supporting it - however, if they want to raise money, don't make it a fashion, make it worthwhile! (alot of people only buy those bangles cos they're "cool" and they think they'll gain respect from wearing them, but really they're just jumping on ye olde bandwagoneth). |

Yeahh I have a few of em but I only wear this one everyone's wearing em as fashion accesories completely unaware of what they even stand for. They're not even the official ones so the money goes to some loser selling rip offs!!!!
I'm 100% behind the makepovertyhistory cause and the bands not my only contribution so I think it's safe to say I'm nowhere near the bandwagon

That's all right then hehe. Like you said, it's perfectly okay to wear them if you're wearing them for the right reasons, but Clare's accessories have ones saying "bitch" and "cool" and other crap like that. Wrong. Just wrong. It's abusing a good cause.  |

Even Kerrang! magazine have a Samaritans one. totally an unrelated matter - yet still a charity thing. But what bugs me is they've copied the rubber bangle thing. I mean, why just follow a trend? Isn't Kerrang supposed to be about 'being different and original'? Why not make something new like a button badge or an iron on patch?
