I think JK isn't as bothered or puts in as much effort as with her old books. And who can blame her? She has the money and the fame. And with more kids and a husband to attend too, i can see why she's falling
The new book just released was no where near as good as the others. I just fear the ending will be a dissapointment too.

Well, shes been planning these books for almost 10 years, so I think the ending will be really good. I think that her writing has improved loads since the Philosophers Stone. The styles very different in that book and I find it quite annoying

really? I think her style has really suffered, she's forgotten how to tell a pacy dramatic story.

In OotP and HBP certain chapters bored me sensless...it took me ages to finish the both of them because I just lost interest. Bring back the excitment of GOF!

I think it's because after time the books have become insanely repetitive. I mean what happens? Harry's usually at his aunt and uncles or Rons, goes to school, something happens, carries on, something happens.
It's the exact same thing basically. I think she's realised this, because she's pulled him out of school for last book. Which personally, i'm happy about.

really? I think her style has really suffered, she's forgotten how to tell a pacy dramatic story. I agree. Even though I love OotP I can see Jaime's point there is a lot to trawl through before it becomes exciting, whereas the Philosopher's Stone (though it's been years since I read it) didn't seem to lack in pace or interest. I know Harry's a teenage boy and all but maybe a little less angst and a little more magic and fighting in the next book yes?! Oh and I want Voldemort's wand! Voldemort's Wand!Mattilian Edit: Shrunk down the link. Stretching the screen! My poor resolution.

So what does everyone think of the new title? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, if you didnt already know I didn't like it at first, I thought it sounded kind of...crap ;D It's growing on me now though!
