is anyone else following this at the moment its great, its on itv 2, sunday nights at 9pm and itv1 monday 11pm. for anyone hasnt seen it its basically 2 brothers hunting demons, ghosts etc, after there mom got killed when they were kids and there father disappears 22 years later, carrying on from where he's left off.
the best thing about this as well was that i tripped over it by accident too which makes it all the more enjoyable.

I've seen all the episodes that have aired in the US so far. I think the actual stand alone bits of the stories are very predictable but I really like Sam and Dean's relationship and the big story arc about what happened to their mum which gets more intriging as the show goes on. Plus, yay, Buffy/Angel guest stars.

Supernatural is a refreshing tv show.
I have to agree with DreamDangerously. The general plots of the standalone eps are predictable so far, but the relationship between the two brothers is what shines through.
I got bored with the events in episode two, but loved three and four!
*Nods* The pilot episode looked like a million quid. The special effects have blown me away. Haven't seen anything like it on tv. Especially the ones featured in last weeks episode and the pilot.
The only niggle that I had with the pilot was the little bit of exposition, when the brothers are explaining their demon hunting history. It annoyed me because why would they talk about stuff to each other that they already knew?
Although, it was a really good episode. Loved the dark, moody look. The rock soundtrack is classic too! The comedy is good fun. (Loved the Mulder and Scully references in the first episode. ;D
The guest stars have been excellent so far too. Great to see Amy Acker (Fred in Angel) in one episode. I was chuffed to see that Kim (The X-Files) Manners directed that eppy too.
Continuing the X-Files theme, did anyone see the actor who played Duane Barry in the X-Files, in the first episode?
Jensen Ackles is a great actor. I've grown past seeing him as Alec from Dark Angel, and love his performance in this show.
He makes a solid lead actor. He was funny in last week's episode, when we discover that Sam has a fear of flying. He plays serious very well too. Loved his performance in the third episode with the kid.
Of all the U.S sci-fi/fantasy drama shows released last autumn, this is the one that caught my eye straight away. Glad to see that ITV2 picked it up. I love the fact the stories are steeped in real mythological accounts. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season works out.

i really like the music used in the show so far as well (bkack sabbath/adcd, other classic rock stuff) there should definetely be a soundtrack too.

I think Supernatural is great so far.
I’ve actually known about the show for a while as I follow Smallville related news and Jensen Ackles left that show for Supernatural.
To be honest I thought it sounded crap but I saw a fan music video (to Highway to Hell) after the first few had aired in the US and it made it look good so I checked the show out and it didn’t disappoint.
