Ta for posting this, Matthew - I'm sure any Michelle fans out there would be happy to know, however I have noted that most of the posts you have created yourself are merely announcements for tv shows and links to articles.
Please; this is a DISCUSSION forum. If you're going to start a topic, talk about something, don't SPAM us. I'm not going to lock this post, but please do not post any more links to articles.
Thanks!

I'm changing the thread to be about the best show on tv at the moment. Aka - House.

Spamming was not my intention. I posted this in other forums that I am in and no one has made a complaint about it. I was posting this news accordingly.

The point that Kneetroll is making is the one I made before, which is that you're not really starting discussion on topics, you're just posting links to articles and then not really engaging with people on the board. Essentially that IS spamming.
Although it may be acceptable on some boards, as Kneetroll is the owner of this board and she's asked you not to do it, I guess you just have to appreciate that it's not acceptable here.
Besides, surely the point of discussion boards is to get know the other posters and get involved in discussions rather than just post news bulletins?

Saying that I am spamming is a complete misrepresentation. Spamming really applies to people who have the time to do so. I certainly do not. I don't have the Internet at home, therefore whenever I do get on the net it is on a limited time. I posted the information I have as soon as I get them meaning I would not have time to make a concrete opinion of what I have just posted. Do you want me to make up something on the spot if so that would be considered as lying. I am attending university so therefore I would not have time to think about "let's spam here", "let's spam there" in fact I don't even think about the word "spam" at all. I certainly do not have time to make defensive statements like this. If I spend more time on the Internet than I intended then I could miss out on my degree. Concrete opinion or degree? Which should I concentrate more on? The links to articles was meant to be proof of the information I was posting. After all I don't want people thinking I was making things up. Every posts I have made has been done in good faith. This accusation of spamming is therefore unwarranted and unfair and a complete misrepresentation of my character. Me not engaging people on the board is also not true as I did answer a question from someone as best I can. This is a discussion forum. For there to be a discussion there has to be something to discussed.

No one is saying you're doing on purpose with the intention of spamming the board, however to other posters that is how it's seemed. Kneetroll has just asked that you don't do it anymore.
I'm not going to argue semantics with you, it really is just a simple case of fact that you've been asked not to do it. That's it really.
If we look at your posting history, the majority of your posts are links to articles rather than engaging in conversation with people. Other posters have been asked not to do the same thing before so don't feel you're being singled out.
We all seem to be able to find plenty to discuss on this board without the need for articles in other threads, so how about joinging in on those for a bit and giving the articles a rest?
