And then you left
And I have died a thousand deaths And I will die a thousand more I thought you were an angel You turned out to be a whore
And everything is turned to dust And everything is infected with a plague When you had to sleep with Craig
'Oh, he's so sensitive' 'He’s got a tattoo' Yeah, carving your name with a compass into my forehead Was not enough for you?
;D - People will get that easily.

The months go by And I don't think of you The signal is frail Just an imprint of what you do So I turn up the sound But you are nowhere I have learnt this to my cost
Curve - Recovery.
I want this song played at my funeral. Not a dry eye in the house.

I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark, When he made Pearl Harbor. I miss you more then that movie missed the point, And that’s an awful lot girl. And now, now you've gone away, And all I'm trying to say, Is Perl Harbor sucked and I miss you
I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school, He was terrible in that film. I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part, He's way better then Ben Affleck. And now all I can think about is your smile, And that shitty movie too, Perl Harbor sucked and I miss you
(Interlude)
Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies. I guess Perl Harbor sucked, Just a little bit more then I miss you.
Points if you know the writer and the movie. ;D

Points if you know the writer and the movie. Well, the movie is Team America: World Police. As for the writer, I'm assuming it was Matt Stone and/or Trey Parker. Incidently, Stone and Parker's next film is going to be a Toho/ Godzilla homage entitled Giant Monsters Attack Japan!

I have loads but currently: You could see me reaching so why couldn't you have met me halfway? You could see me bleeding, but you could not put pressure on the wound...and You could see me breathing, but you still kept your hand over my mouth, You could feel me seething, but you just turned your nose up in the air...
You only think about yourself, you only think about yourself You'd better bend before I go on the first train to MexicoBoth from Mexico by Incubus

Hurt - (Nine Inch Nails but I prefer the Johnny Cash version for which I will never forgive Nike. Why did their fat corporate arses have to use it to advertise trainers!)
I hurt myself today To see if I still feel I focus on the pain The only thing that's real The needle tears a hole The old familiar sting Try to kill it all away But I remember everything
[Chorus:] What have I become My sweetest friend Everyone I know goes away In the end And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt
I wear this crown of thorns Upon my liar's chair Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair Beneath the stains of time The feelings disappear You are someone else I am still right here
[Chorus:] What have I become My sweetest friend Everyone I know goes away In the end And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt
If I could start again A million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way

Currently listening to....
There's razors in my bed / that come out late at night They always disappear / before the morning light I'm dreaming again / of life underground It doesn't ever move / it doesn't make a sound And just when I think that things are in their place The heavens are secure - the whole thing explodes in my face

It's the Bill Bailey Slayer style ballad ;D hehehehehe Oh and DD i totally agree; CAsh's version is so heartfelt. I know he was dying at the time, but you can hear it in his voice. Amazing version of that song.

I think I prefer Cash's version. They used it as the song for one of two Eddie Guerreo (sp?) tribute videos. It was on RAW and I have it on DVD. It's immensely powerful and probably the stronger version. The video hits you. Right in the chest.
I also find it funny Reznor's comments on his reaction when he heard Cash's version.

Something like him losing a child as it wasn't his song any more...I can't remember the exact quote...

Cash's version is just so fractured and painful and beautiful. It's the ultimate cathartic song. I've bawled my eyes out to it on many a bad day.
