I think he suits 'Az', then again I think he's suit sack-cloth and ashes. It's easier to type as well.
I don't think we can help ourselves, too much time, too little Az.

Well, it was actually not bad, very much your standard set up the plot kind of episode but how much the central character know is quite interesting and lots of vague questions raise. There was some frankly god-awful acting from one or two characters to be honest. The series could go either way at the moment.
Although there are some vague plot similarites with Hex, it's very much the glossy American afair and not as dark or adult as Hex.
also, I picked up this little snippet of news:
The Pilot episode to Marti Noxon's new MUST SEE series Point Pleasant will air this wednesday night on E4 at 9pm, repeated later at midnight.
Latest news for Point Pleasant is that Marti Noxon wants James marsters to join the show. Other Actors from Buffy & Angel may also pop up in it, so stick with around..
More on Point Pleasant Soon.

You talking about Patricia Arquette Devlin? If so, yeah, she was kewl in Freddy 3 Anymoo, I didn't watch it, and don't think I will. I think that the Buffy people are bored and don't want to drop the Buffy theme. I honestly hope Buffy actors don't subject themselves to that

Well I watched episode 2....more of the same really....ancient prophesy....more forboding warnings...a rather dull soap opera-y story line with a fading prom queen played by Dina Meyer. It very slow and there is not much to get your teeth in to, especially if this is going to be dragged out over 12 or more episodes, something a bit unique needs to start happening.
It's a bit O.C with a side order of genre at the moment.
And some of the acting is still dire.

I thought it was a bit iffy in places. There is some good ideas...but I thought that Marti Noxon was dying to write something witty and exciting for the characters. This can improve...i know it will.
...And it never occurred to me that there were simularities to Hex at all.

really? There are some similarities, but I don't think it's too similar....it's got nothing like the atmosphere or the "gothic" story of Hex for one. It does show for all those "new Buffy" comments about Hex, that it was nothing like this kind of show.

I saw that on E4, wasn't too impressed. BUT at one scene on the beach befre something happens with the fire...they played Twisted by Rachel Stamp <3

Well, last week was good enough to make me watch again this week and I'm glad I did. It didn't seem so much like the 'O.C' with genre threw in for fun that last week did, more came out and the supernatural elements of the show did have centre stage. I'm really glad they didn't have Christina (I almost typed Cassie) sweep in and win the competition for the first time against that awful Paula. I really don't like her and surprisingly for the right reasons. Lucas. What else do I need to say. Nasty. Sexy. Devilishly Handsome. Determinedly Charming. The way he dealt with the 'fading prom queen' just made me giggle. He is shaping up to be quite the manipulative bad boy type that it's going to take to make October come faster.

Okay it is getting slightly better, but it is still a bit plodding and you can see the plot coming at you like a sledgehammer. Lucas is cool, although not as cool as the big daddy of bad, Lucas Buck from American Gothic. hehe. (Which incidentally did the child of the devil who is inherantly good thing much better.) Jesse looks pretty but acts about as well as a wet fish. I liked when the walking tour though hehe
