Anyone see it?? Our Gemma played the wife of an old fat rich man, staying at the hotel spending all his money then she got accused of being a prostitute. hehe. Anthony Head (I love that man!) & Craig Kelly also starred in this evening's ep. Not sure about any others though as this is the first time I've watched it

Oh really! I didn't watch it because I can't bear Tamsin Outhwaite.
Zoe Tapper is a really good actress I have new found respect for her after seeing her on stage. It makes me realise how much (yet again) Hex wasted another good actor.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Zoe also played a murder victim in an episode of Foyle's War that was screened a couple of weeks ago.

I think the only reason she came across like that was because she wasn't really given anything to do.

My parents read the Daily Mail, which published a large photo of Zoe Tapper on 10/03/06, together with the news that she's the female lead in a new British period film, These Foolish Things. The film is about a London theatre company in the 1930s, and also stars Terence Stamp, Anjelica Huston and the legendary Lauren Bacall. The film's director Julia Taylor-Stanley has confirmed in interviews that Zoe won the role after beating Keira Knightley and Sierra Miller in auctions. The Mail reports that Zoe's next role will be in a biopic of 18th century artist William Hogarth, in which she plays his muse.
There's also news of another former Hex actress: Jessica Oyelowo has a starring role in the new BBC1 detective series Mayo, which starts on 12/03/06. Alistair McGowan plays the title character, Detective Inspector Gil Mayo, and Oyelowo is his ex-girlfriend and newly-appointed Detective Sergeant, Alex Jones. Oyelowo previously played Rachel McBain in the very first episode of Hex, and also had a memorable role as a ghost in the Sky TV movie The Sight.

Zoe Tapper has the leading role in the period drama A Harlot's Progress, which is being screened on Channel 4 at 21:00 on 02/11/06.
She plays Mary Collins, a real life prostitute in 18th century London, who became the model, muse, inspiration and personal obsession of painter, engraver and satirist William Hogarth (played by Toby Jones).
Another Hex actress also stars in the film: Geraldine James (who appeared as Cassie's mother Lilith in the show's first season) plays a brothel madam called Mother Needham.

Thanks Orokiah for showing me this topic.
I liked Thelma's character more than Roxanne's, and think she'll be good in other roles. I'm glad she beat Keira Knightley in These Foolish Things. Keira's in so many movies lately, it seems any time they want someone female and British, there she is. It's a bit overkill for me.
This will probably be a good one. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Zoe Tapper is incredibly talented and Hex didn't really use that very well. I saw her in a play in the West End a couple of years ago and she was outstanding.
